We are now offering the DEPILAR system, an effective and affordable
method for the reduction of unwanted body hair !
THE LOWDOWN:
It MUST be applied only after waxing when the follicles are open...
(we wax you, then we massage in a gel for approx. 1-2 minutes,
followed by an activator for 1-2 mins.... the end!)
It is completely painless, includes post waxing calming agents
and is effective on any part of the body for any hair color or skin color...
(those of you with hair that is too light or fine for laser, this works even faster on you!)
Your job in all of this is to come in with regularity...
it will be effective only in the Anagen stage of hair growth..
so for face waxers this can be between 3 and 4 weeks,
and for body, you need to be consistent every 4-6 weeks.
We need to see those little bulbs during hair removal to make sure that follicle is clear and ready!
You will need to maintain treatment anywhere from 7 months to 18months +....
Generally you will see the reduction beginning to take effect by the 4th or 5th treatment..
some sooner, some later... lighter/finer hair may be on the quicker end,
dark/coarse hair can be a bit more persistent as you know
The very first treatment, you may notice quick regrowth..
that's just your body adapting to the enzymes.
( we noticed this on us...)
The gels utilize two main proteins, Trypsin and Chymotrypsin.
Due to it's unique formulation Trysin does not interact with other substances
or structures of the skin and does not enter the circulatory system.
Depilar has been in development for over 12 years which involved 2 years
of clinical treatments and tests.
In very rare cases a small local urticarial rash can result
that will disappear within 48 hours.
You can always do a patch test if concerned.
This treatment is NOT recommended for those who react to or are sensitive to salicylic acid.
THE RULES:
before your treatment you don't want to shower
or apply any topical products
( creams, lotions, perfume, makeup, deodorant, etc.)
for a MINIMUM of ONE HOUR beforehand.
Same goes for after your treatment...
ONE HOUR on showering, lotions etc.
but avoid sitting in the sun, tanning beds, self tanners, products
containing alcohol, makeup and deodorant for 24 HOURS after treatment...
